The exhibition, titled La química que ho canvia tot, opened in late June and will remain open to the public until mid-August. The project combines a selection of historical images with the publication of a book documenting how the establishment of this sector has redefined the region's development.
The exhibition panels cover various aspects of industrial activity, from the beginnings of the first factories to the construction of key infrastructure such as the refinery, the pier, or the monobuoy. References to the evolution of safety measures in marine facilities are also included.
The exhibition is traveling and began its tour in the Part Baixa of Tarragona, specifically at the Empresaris de Tarragona premises. The exhibition is scheduled to visit several municipalities in the Camp de Tarragona, focusing especially on those towns with a direct link to the chemical sector.
