Officers from the Mossos d'Esquadra and local police in Torredembarra and Roda de Berà arrested a 21-year-old man on Saturday, January 10, for a theft committed in an AP-7 service area.

The theft occurred shortly after 2:15 p.m. near Roda de Berà. The victim had stopped to rest when another car parked in front. One individual pretended to check the victim's rear wheel, distracting her.
While the victim was distracted, a second accomplice stole a travel backpack from the passenger seat. The two men quickly fled the scene, prompting a report filed at the Roda de Berà police station.
The investigation focused on several stolen electronic devices, which were successfully geolocated in the municipality of Torredembarra. This information triggered a joint patrol operation involving local police and Mossos d'Esquadra.
A patrol spotted the suspect walking on Girona Street in Torredembarra. Upon interception, officers found a laptop and wireless headphones belonging to the victim. The man was subsequently arrested for theft and appeared before the investigating court in El Vendrell on Sunday, January 11.
