The Government has awarded a subsidy of €336,264 to the Tàrraco Roman Heritage Consortium to reinforce the management and preservation of one of Catalonia's main heritage sites.

The Tàrraco archaeological complex, declared a UNESCO World Heritage site, includes assets from the municipalities of Altafulla, Constantí, Roda de Berà, and Tarragona. These elements are also declared Cultural Assets of National Interest by the Generalitat de Catalunya.
The Tàrraco Roman Heritage Consortium, with minority participation from the Generalitat and majority from the Tarragona City Council, aims to recover, restore, conserve, improve, manage, disseminate, and promote the Roman historical and cultural heritage of the city and its surroundings.
These objectives are part of the general interest and priorities of the Department of Culture.
