The waste fee for residences will increase from 146 to 179 euros annually to align income with service costs. A specific tariff will be introduced for tourist accommodations (283.28 euros annually), and a 15% reduction will be maintained for proper waste separation via the Door-to-Door system. The fee for commercial waste will remain frozen.
The blue parking zone will be reorganized into five sectors with new tariffs and parking conditions adapted to each area. General tariffs of 1.50 euros per hour are proposed for beach areas and Baix a Mar, and 1.20 euros for the urban center. Reduced tariffs for residents linked to the municipality and special resident tariffs with daily or hourly rates depending on the zone and season will also be available.
The IBI (property tax) will remain frozen, and the 95% bonus for social rental housing will be preserved. Mayor Raúl García highlighted that the proposed residential fee for 2027 is below the average of surrounding municipalities. Councilor for Finance, Eduard Rovira, detailed that the net cost for waste services is projected at 4.69 million euros, with the new tariffs covering 71.6% of this cost.
The reorganization of the blue zone aims to adapt tariffs to each sector, facilitate parking for residents, and promote vehicle rotation. New tariffs will be calculated by the minute, with a minimum payment equivalent to 10 minutes. High season will run from the Friday before Palm Sunday to Easter Monday, and from June 15 to September 15. The modification is expected to take effect on March 19, 2027.
