The municipality of Bot, in the Terra Alta region, holds two consecutive plenary sessions this Saturday to formalize the change in the mayor's office, fulfilling the government agreement signed in 2023.

The transfer of power marks the end of the cycle of mayoral changes scheduled across the Terres de l'Ebre. The current mayor will hand over the position to the former first deputy mayor, in accordance with the pact established between the two parties that have managed the council during this term.
During their shared term, the municipal government focused on securing grants for strategic projects. Key initiatives include the expansion of the les Forques industrial estate, which will facilitate new business investments, as well as the renovation of the old train station for tourism and agri-food purposes.
Municipal officials have praised the collaboration between different political forces, emphasizing that the priority has always been consensus over party interests. This harmony has also extended to their perspective on regional politics, advocating for greater unity in the management of supra-municipal bodies.
