The DOP Oli Terra Alta has established its new Regulatory Council following the conclusion of the electoral process, confirming the continuity of the presidency for the upcoming term.

The electoral process, which concluded on May 11, resulted in the proclamation of a candidacy consisting of twenty members, including titular and substitute representatives. This new governing commission represents both the census of producers and that of processors, packers, and marketers in the region.
The entity's management has set as a priority the strengthening of the Oli Terra Alta brand, with a special focus on the empeltre variety. The strategy involves increasing the product's visibility in retail channels and gourmet shops, as well as promoting the oleotourism sector through collaborative projects with various administrations.
The DOP Oli Terra Alta currently covers a territory formed by the twelve municipalities of the Terra Alta region and three towns in the Ribera d'Ebre: Ascó, Flix, and Riba-roja d'Ebre.
