Among the most notable actions is the advancement of the feasibility study for the Terres de l'Ebre tram-train, aiming for completion in 2028. This infrastructure is considered fundamental for improving territorial connectivity and promoting more sustainable mobility.
At the municipal level, the agreement allocates 300,000 euros for the renovation of the parking lot and Alfons XII square in Tortosa. This long-demanded action seeks to enhance the urban space and revitalize the city center.
For Terra Alta, the execution of the industrial estate in Bot will be promoted to foster economic development and job creation in the region. Additionally, actions will be guaranteed to ensure access to drinking water in Corbera d'Ebre.
Movem also emphasizes that the overall agreement strengthens social policies and territorial cohesion, particularly in housing and the fight against inequality, which are crucial elements for equal opportunities across the country.
The agreement includes an investment of 2.5 billion euros in housing policies, the promotion of a new law to expand public housing stock, and 1.2 billion euros for the Neighborhood Plan. These measures build upon previous agreements such as doubling rent subsidies and improving school meal grants.
The political group commits to continuing its work to ensure these agreements translate into tangible improvements for citizens and that Terres de l'Ebre receives the attention it deserves in national decisions and investments.
