The 12th edition of DVins, Agramunt's showcase of local wines and cavas, achieved great success despite the rain, drawing hundreds to the Passeig del Sió.

Even the afternoon rain could not dampen the spirits at the twelfth edition of DVins, Agramunt's festival dedicated to local wines and cavas. The event filled the Passeig del Sió with hundreds of attendees who, even during the downpours, remained on site with umbrellas and glasses in hand, demonstrating the festival's deep roots. The day concluded with a very positive assessment, with projections to match last year's 55,000 tasting tickets sold, according to Jordi Figuera, president of the Festa, Gastronomia i Cultura association. Even before the rain, attendance and sales were exceeding expectations.
Attendees had the opportunity to sample over 200 varieties of wines and cavas from 24 wineries, including the new addition of the Salvadó Alexandre winery from Verdú. The festival also featured a dozen local gastronomic exhibitors, enhancing the event's food-pairing focus.
Figuera emphasized that the main goal of DVins is to "fill people with happiness" by promoting knowledge of local wines and those from the DO Costers del Segre. The program was further enhanced by live music, with performances by Pink Goats and DJs Lomocoqueso, Makoki, and Berni.
The day began with the tenth enotourism route, titled "Agramunt gastronomic since ancient times", focusing on the evolution of local cuisine. During this route, a documentary discovery was announced of a nougat maker from 1736, Francesc Balcells, pushing the known history of the craft back by nearly 40 years from the previous earliest record.
Additionally, DVins coincided with the 51st edition of the Campionat de Colles Sardanistes de la Terra Ferma, which brought together 22 sardanista groups. Due to the rain, this event had to be moved indoors to the pavilion.
The DVins festival was made possible through the voluntary involvement of approximately 70 people.
