The street arts proposal, divided into two parts, reflects on our place in the timeline and explores new ways of inhabiting the present. The first part simulates the filming of a movie, while the second, in the format of an open-air cinema, allows for its complete viewing.
'Aquí' is a co-production by FiraTàrrega, El Canal de Salt – Centre de creació d’arts escèniques, and Festival Chalon dans la Rue / Centre National des Arts de la Rue et de l’Espace Public – L’Abattoir, Chalon-sur-Saône. It has received support from various entities such as Nau Ivanow, Festival Això al poble no li agradarà, Espai nyam nyam, Patea Artes de Calle Asociadas, and Teatre Municipal de Girona.
Furthermore, it has had the collaboration of Festival Bang! (Mutte Cultural – Convent de Pontós), La Cremallera – Espai de creació i residència artística, OSIC – Oficina de Suport a la Iniciativa Cultural of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Convent de les Arts d’Alcover, and the Fàbrica de Creació Fabra i Coats.
The company Llum de Fideu has also been selected to develop the French version of 'Aquí' during a residency at the prestigious Chalon dans la Rue festival, where it will premiere next year.
The show was selected for the Suport a la Creació de FiraTàrrega program in 2024. Over the subsequent two years, FiraTàrrega provided artistic and technical support, enabling 'Aquí' to reach its premiere in 2026 with a high degree of maturity and market potential.
Despite the conclusion of its own Support for Creation program, FiraTàrrega has joined as a partner of Crea en Xarxa, an artistic support pilot plan initiated by the Direcció General de Drets Culturals, Creació i Biblioteques and the network of public Creation Centers of Catalonia from the Departament de Cultura.
FiraTàrrega, an international performing arts market since 1981, is one of Catalonia's strategic cultural markets. Its mission is to nurture the market with creative talent, strengthen the performing arts sector, and democratize access to culture from the territory. The 46th edition was held from September 10 to 13, 2026, under the leitmotif CELEBREM.
