The Catalan Benjamin Championship Final, hosted in Reus, brought together the top young swimming talents, with representatives from the Club Natació Tàrrega demonstrating a high competitive level. The event underscored the athletes' progress throughout the season.
The youngest swimmers, the pre-benjamins born in 2017, participated for the first time in a Territorial Swimming Final (Q64). Fabrizio G. Carvajal was crowned runner-up in Catalonia for the 9-year-old category, earning a silver medal. Patrick M. Cutean secured 37th position in the 9.5-year-old category, surpassing his initial ranking.
The second day featured swimmers born in 2016. In the morning session, the 10-year-old participants competed in the Q64 event. Sergi Vall-llaura finished 38th, while Bianca Puigrefagut placed 57th and earned a diploma by winning her H final. Concurrently, the 10.5-year-old participants competed in the 100-meter freestyle, where Zakhar Phyknei claimed the gold medal.
In the afternoon, the 10.5-year-old swimmers improved their initial standings in the Q64 event. Mònica Ponzel finished 49th and won the G final, receiving a diploma. Iris Salvador placed 44th. Eva Rosú and Zakhar Phyknei reached the podium with 8th and 5th positions, respectively.
On the final day, the 2015 benjamins showed their strength. Blai Monné achieved 17th place and a diploma in the 200m individual medley, winning his heat. Màxim Burlacu finished 25th, earning a diploma in his 200m freestyle heat.
These results highlight the dedication of the technical team and the athletes, confirming the strong foundation of the club and its capacity for top-level competition.
