The third edition of the Intercultural Fair will take place in La Seu d’Urgell on Sunday, June 14th, consolidating itself as a space for coexistence and cultural diversity.

The city of La Seu d’Urgell is preparing to host its third Intercultural Fair on Sunday, June 14th. The event, officially presented this Thursday, will be held for the second consecutive year at the Passeig Joan Brudieu. This initiative aims to be a major showcase of diversity and coexistence in the region, with participation from representatives of twelve different nationalities.
The councilor for solidarity and cooperation of La Seu d’Urgell, Jordi Mas, highlighted the importance of the fair as a meeting space. According to Mas, the main objective is to demonstrate the need for spaces of coexistence where exchange and proximity among people of different origins enrich the plural society of La Seu d’Urgell.
This year's program includes new features such as storytelling sessions from various countries, adding to the traditional showcases of music, cultural workshops, and gastronomy. Moroccan culture will have a prominent presence, represented by the Moroccan Community of La Seu d’Urgell.

"It is wonderful what we celebrate and teach about Moroccan culture, the typical foods full of colors and flavors."

In addition to the activities on the 14th, the initiative also has an educational component. On June 18th, there will be a deeper dive into the reality of migration with the presentation of the book ‘Mares migrants. Identitat, memòria i vincle’ at the Espai Ermengol.
