Works to widen and improve sidewalks on Comtes d'Urgell street in Lleida are entering their final phase, with traffic disruptions scheduled for next week.

Repair and asphalt paving work on Comtes d'Urgell street in Lleida will cause several traffic disruptions between Monday, June 8th, and Friday, June 12th.
During this period, traffic will be closed on Roger de Llúria street, between Camino de Corbins and Comtes d'Urgell street, heading towards Barrios Norte. This action is to repair a detected subsidence in the roadway at the intersection with Comtes d'Urgell. As an alternative, drivers can use Camino de Corbins and Baró de Maials streets.
The paving work will be concentrated on Friday, June 12th, and will affect the entire work area. The section of Comtes d'Urgell between Príncipe de Viana and Josep Pla streets will be asphalted, as well as the final section of Roger de Llúria to complete the intersection renovation.
As a result of this work, Comtes d'Urgell street between Príncipe de Viana and Josep Pla will also be closed to traffic on the same Friday. Once these tasks are completed, the works will be practically finished, concluding an intervention aimed at improving pedestrian accessibility and safety in the area.
