The municipal swimming pools in Sant Martí de Maldà opened this Thursday following a comprehensive renovation that addressed structural deficiencies and improved accessibility within the facility.

The project involved a total investment of 450,000 euros, partially funded through the PUOSC and other Generalitat programs. The work was necessary to correct the deterioration of the facilities, which suffered from cracks and constant water leaks that hindered maintenance.
The construction included renovating the large pool basin to ensure water tightness and a complete overhaul of the small pool. Additionally, the green area and pool decks were reorganized to increase available space and improve user access.

"On days like today, we see the relevance of this plan to transform the country hand-in-hand with local governments. A country on the move is one that promotes policies to improve the lives of its citizens, wherever they live."

Albert Dalmau · Conseller de la Presidència
