These works, managed by the Roads Territorial Service, will focus on a stretch of Sant Pelegrí street (between the railway line and Catalunya Avenue) and Plaça del Carme. Interventions will also take place on a short section of Joan Maragall street, up to the intersection with Astes de Sant Macari. This action is part of the department's road infrastructure conservation plan.
The works will necessitate traffic cuts in the city center, affecting several adjacent streets. The Local Police and the Brigade have signposted the area to indicate detours, and drivers are advised to use alternative routes to avoid congestion.
The municipal urban bus route will also be affected. On Wednesday, two stops (10 and 11) will be out of service, while on Thursday, eight stops will be impacted (12, 13, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29). These interventions include repainting the horizontal signage. It is worth noting that the last asphalt surface renovation of the C-14 within Tàrrega was carried out at the end of 2020.
