This amount will be entirely dedicated to financing a stray cat sterilization project using the CER method (Capture, Sterilization, and Return). The goal is to hire professional services for effective feline population control in the city of Tàrrega.
The main objective is the effective control of the feline population in the city through the application of the Capture, Sterilization, and Return (CER) method.
The Great Solidarity Raffle, which took place at Espai MerCAT, was a success, gathering over 400 attendees. It also received collaboration from nearly 100 commercial establishments in Tàrrega, which provided gifts for the draw.
In previous editions, the proceeds from this solidarity initiative have supported various social causes. These include support for the families of political prisoners (2019), the Associació Sàhara Ponent (2022), the Sempre Acompanyats project against loneliness among the elderly (2023), and the Suport Educatiu project aimed at children without resources in Tàrrega (2024).
