The Àgora project, developed by the AFA (Parents Association) of the Maria Mercè Marçal school in Tàrrega, has been selected as the winner of the first 'Projects that activate the educational community' call. This initiative was launched by the Quàlia cooperative at the end of 2025 with the aim of fostering cooperativism and school participation.
The winning proposal involves the construction of a permanent stone space in the schoolyard, designed to host debates, assemblies, classes, and various outdoor educational activities. The jury highlighted its community and educational focus, as well as its capacity to generate participation among families, students, and teaching staff.
The call was endowed with 4,000 euros, funds originating from the Quàlia inter-cooperation fund, and received a total of five proposals from Parents Associations linked to the cooperative's project.
“"this first edition has been a complete success both for the quality of the projects and for the involvement of the participating AFAs."
Quàlia has already announced plans to work on the second edition of the program, intending to consolidate this support line and build strong ties with local educational communities.
