The day began with visits to the Tàrrega Urgell Museum and the Jewish quarter, followed by a tour of the Museu Trepat. After lunch, participants attended the 26th Environmental Fair in the Plaça del Carme.
Visitors explored local shops using discount vouchers from Foment Tàrrega and received a gift basket of local products, courtesy of the Provincial Council of Lleida. The event was attended by Montse Garrido (Economic Promotion and Tourism technician for Tàrrega), Òscar Martínez (provincial deputy), and Marta Sans (president of Foment Tàrrega).
The campaign, under the slogan "Shop locally, reach far", distributed over 3,500 tickets and 22 prizes, including experiences to discover Catalan municipalities. Tàrrega thus reaffirms its commitment to local commerce and territorial promotion.
The initiative, now in its sixteenth edition since 2010, is considered one of the most significant shared commercial revitalization campaigns in Catalonia. The Tàrrega Department of Economic Promotion positively values its continued participation in the network to pool efforts with other towns.
Due to rain, the 26th Environmental Fair had to cancel activities scheduled for Sunday at Parc de Sant Eloi. The 5th Rural Women's Walk was also cancelled and rescheduled for November 15th in La Figuerosa.
