The Department of Economic Promotion of the Tàrrega City Council has launched the ninth edition of the discount voucher campaign, aiming to promote local shopping and support the city's commercial, service, and restaurant establishments. The council has allocated 50,000 euros in discount vouchers that can be redeemed at participating businesses.
This year, the campaign introduces new features to improve voucher distribution. Citizens who register on the website bons.tarrega.cat can download four five-euro vouchers each, totaling up to 20 euros in savings. These vouchers can be used during October and November. A 5 euro discount will be applied for every 20 euros spent, with a purchase limit of 80 euros and a maximum of 700 vouchers redeemed per business. Vouchers will expire 7 days after download.
The Councilor for Economic Promotion, Jaume Vall, anticipates the participation of the 80 establishments from the previous year and encourages others to join. "We call on all establishments and restaurateurs in the city to join the campaign to unite around local commerce," he stated.
Businesses interested in participating can now register at https://bons.tarrega.cat/ca/apuntat-campanya-bons-comercos. For citizens, the process involves registering on the bons.tarrega.cat website, downloading the 4 five-euro vouchers, and using them on purchases over 20 euros within 7 days of download.
