The Badia del Vallès City Council has scheduled informational meetings for next Monday, November 9th, to explain the asbestos removal process for the property communities at Algarve, 1 street and Costa Brava Avenue, 14, 16, and 18.

Mayor Josep Martínez Valencia, along with municipal technicians and representatives from ACM 2020, will detail to residents how the removal of asbestos cement elements from the affected buildings' facades will be carried out.
The meetings will take place at 6:30 PM in front of the entrance at Algarve, 1 street, and at 7:15 PM on Costa Brava, 14 street, for the communities on Costa Brava Avenue, 14, 16, and 18. Maximum attendance is recommended due to the importance of the topic.
The exact execution date for the works, which will be carried out by a specialized and authorized company, is still pending confirmation and will be communicated in advance. The estimated duration of the works is between five and seven weeks, subject to potential incidents.
Property owners are reminded of the need to disconnect boilers or other equipment connected to the pipes subject to the work beforehand. Cooperation from co-owners during execution is also requested, by keeping windows near the pipes closed, avoiding the use of air conditioning connected to the facade, and removing items such as clotheslines or awnings.
Inquiries and incidents can be reported via WhatsApp at 930 485 573 or through an online form. The City Council thanks all residents for their cooperation and understanding to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the work.
