Sabadell's Festa Major experienced a memorable night with 31 FAM's concert at the Eix Macià. The band connected with the local audience, delivering a show that lasted until nearly 2 AM, transforming the venue into a grand celebration.
The concert centered around the concept of their latest album, 'R31', released on April 25, 2025, and reissued this March with extra content. The album is designed as a radio broadcast, complete with its own jingle and a structure that plays with this radio universe.
For nearly an hour and a half, 31 FAM journeyed through their discography, blending tracks from 'R31' with their classic hits. Songs like CÓMO ME DOLIÓ, which the group announced would be one of their last live performances, and LA PILI, described as "a bit of Catalan 'rumbeta'," took center stage. The audience responded with particular intensity to a la meva vera, while ANEM TIRANT was another highlight.
Midway through ANEM TIRANT, the band paused to celebrate the moment and toast the audience with "full glasses," encapsulating the spirit of a performance designed to mark their return home as prominent figures of the Festa Major. The rivalry between Sabadell and Terrassa also surfaced through playful banter, underscoring the group's connection to Sabadell and their role in promoting the city's name.
The most emotional moments arrived with songs like Espero que siguis a un lloc millor, before the band regained momentum with Ferran Adrià. The group also took the opportunity to champion the Catalan language with a clear message: "We will never stop singing in Catalan."
One of the night's surprises was the appearance of Flashy Ice Cream, another significant name in Sabadell's urban music scene. Together, they performed Dorayakis, their new collaboration released in 2026, and Bona Vida. After their set, 31 FAM continued with TOSSUDA PT. 2, BON ANYYYY, and MAMA HO SENTO, igniting euphoria among the crowd.
To close the night, Nens del Barri was a must. The audience played a significant role, joining the band in a finale that has become part of the Catalan urban music narrative, with the iconic line: "I la nena catalana em va deixar tot moix tirat, I ara digue'm, ma', què faig sense tu." The broadcast faded out around 2 AM, concluding a night where Sabadell tuned into 31 FAM.
