The deadline to apply for the 2026 Young Renters' Subsidy closed on March 13. This aid is intended for young people between 18 and 35 years old, inclusive, who meet the established requirements.
The maximum subsidized rent amount is €900 for entire dwellings and €450 for renting a room, within the Barcelona Metropolitan Area, which includes regions such as Baix Llobregat, Barcelonès, Maresme, Vallès Occidental, and Vallès Oriental.

Mandatory documentation for the application includes the application form, the SEPA bank transfer request in the applicant's name, the original rental contract, all paid rent receipts for 2026 up to the application date, a responsible declaration if employment began in 2025 or 2026, and the family record book if applicable.
