BeLog has acquired a plot of almost 16,000 square meters in one of Terrassa's industrial parks, with the aim of developing a state-of-the-art logistics platform. The new construction will feature approximately 11,600 square meters of gross leasable area, and construction is expected to begin in the coming weeks.
According to the firm's partner and Operations Director, Xavier Novell, this strategic acquisition demonstrates BeLog's capability to identify and execute logistics opportunities in markets with limited supply. The choice of Terrassa is based on its location within the metropolitan area and its good connectivity, leveraging the local network to develop projects in strategic locations due to the lack of opportunities in Barcelona.
The company, founded three years ago by Alejandro Rumayor, Xavier Novell, and Pau Llorca, all with prior industry experience, continues its expansion. The company already manages a portfolio of nearly 550,000 square meters spread across 27 logistics assets.
This purchase in Terrassa adds to recent acquisitions, including the construction of a 10,000m2 complex in Bràfim (Tarragona) and an investment in Sabadell, where an old Roca factory of 32,000m2 will be transformed into a mega-logistics center.
