The organizational change at Cal Reig, the headquarters of the Minyons de Terrassa, was formalized this Saturday in a general assembly where Bru Busom presented his project. His was the only candidacy presented to take over from Albert Pérez as the head of the technical area.
In the final vote, the team led by Busom received majority support, obtaining 97 favorable votes, compared to 54 against and 15 blank votes from the group's members.
“"We will continue with the same idea that the group has followed, with the same dreams of trying to build the biggest possible castells and seeking the impossible in this world that we love so much."
The technical objectives for the next two years are clear: to repeat and surpass last year's achievements, especially the 'extra range' (gamma extra) human towers. Busom emphasized that the group's philosophy is based on self-improvement: “We have always competed against ourselves. Ultimately, self-improvement is our driving force.”
Busom's new technical team is complemented by Miquel Aguilar as deputy technical head (sots cap de colla), Christian Llorca in the base area (pinyes), Queralt Castañé as the head of the children's section (canalla), and Ona Jané in charge of the towers and pillars.
