22-year-old man arrested for six burglaries in Vallès Occidental homes

The suspect gained access to the residences by climbing through light wells and courtyards in three municipalities.

The Mossos d’Esquadra arrested a 22-year-old man on December 30 in Barcelona, accused of committing six burglaries in residences across Barberà, Cerdanyola, and Montcada i Reixach.

The criminal acts attributed to him took place between October 3 and November 24 last year, affecting several homes in the Vallès Occidental region.
According to the Catalan police investigation, the detainee used a specific method of entry, climbing through the buildings' light wells and courtyards. Once inside, he forced the apartment entrances to steal mainly jewelry and cash.

During the search of the arrested man's home in Barcelona, officers recovered jewelry and 1,450 euros in cash.

The police operation culminated in a court-ordered entry and search of his Barcelona residence on December 30. Following the arrest, the man was brought before the investigating court on duty in Cerdanyola the following day.
