The Spanish women's indoor hockey team, featuring goal scorers Clara Ycart and Mar Sola from Terrassa, lost the bronze medal match at the Eurohockey Indoor in Prague on Sunday, January 18, finishing fourth overall.

The national squad, coached by Jorge Pérez, narrowly lost (2-3) against Austria in a dramatic finish decided in the very last second. The team had significant representation from Terrassa, including players Clara Ycart, Estel Forte, Marta Grau, and Mar Sola, along with physiotherapist Lídia Sánchez and team manager Sònia de Ignacio-Simó.
The third and fourth-place match, held in Prague, saw the Redsticks constantly fighting back, always trailing on the scoreboard. After Johanna Buchleitner opened the scoring for the Austrians, Mar Sola managed to equalize 1-1 before the end of the first quarter.

The cruelest and least expected outcome occurred when Laura Kern scored the Austrian winning goal in the final second, breaking the 2-2 tie.

In the third quarter, after Buchleitner had put Austria ahead again, Clara Ycart executed a great individual play from midfield to tie the score at 2-2. Despite subsequent opportunities, including a shot by Mar Sola that hit the post, the game was settled by Kern's late goal, leaving Spain in fourth place.
