The Club Natació Rubí held the eleventh edition of the 100x100 Solidarity challenge on Sunday, January 4, gathering nearly 60 swimmers in Rubí to raise almost 200 euros for La Marató de 3Cat cancer research fund.

This event, which is already a fixture on the club's calendar, is non-competitive and directly linked to the solidarity cause promoted by 3Cat. The challenge requires participants to complete 100 series of 100 meters, totaling 10 kilometers, either individually, in relays, or by adapting the format to their abilities.
Approximately 60 participants, spanning all ages and skill levels, took to the water to face this demanding sporting challenge at the start of 2026. The atmosphere was highlighted by camaraderie, shared effort, and good spirits among the swimmers.
Thanks to the contributions made by the participants, the Club Natació Rubí successfully raised nearly 200 euros. These funds have been donated to La Marató de 3Cat, which this year focuses on promoting research against cancer, one of the leading causes of mortality globally.
The organizers specifically acknowledged the collaboration of the Association of Adjudicators of the Rubí Municipal Market, which supported the event by providing fresh fruit to all participants to aid their recovery after the strenuous effort.
