Several municipalities in Valles Occidental, including Ripollet, Palau-Solità i Plegamans, Matadepera, and Sant Llorenç Savall, are celebrating their local festivals this weekend with a wide program of events, featuring concerts for everyone.

This weekend, four municipalities near Sabadell are celebrating their local festivals: Ripollet, Palau-Solità i Plegamans, Matadepera, and Sant Llorenç Savall. Music will be one of the main attractions, with concerts for all tastes.
In Ripollet, notable performances include Doctor Prats on Sunday at 10 PM at Espai Brollador, followed by Al·lèrgiques al Polen. Also on Sunday, at Plaça del Clos, the winner of the 2026 Enderrock Award for best authorial song-pop album, the Mallorcan artist Júlia Colom, will perform. La Principal de la Bisbal will play at Plaça de Joan Abad. On Friday, the Ripollet Rock Festival will feature bands like Serious Black, Headon, Leyendärian, Rhapsody of Fire, and Crematory. Additionally, there will be the Festival Flamenc and a tribute to Raffaella Carrà, Hola Raffaella. On Saturday, Espai Jove will host the Va Parir Tour by Ràdio Flaixbac, with performances by Maruja Limón and La Condesa.
In Palau-Solità i Plegamans, on Thursday at midnight, Ginestà will perform at Espai Barraques. On Monday, Els Catarres will give a family concert before the closing pyromusical show, followed by Miquel del Roig. The program also includes Versión Imposible, Hotel Cochambre, La Vella Dixieland & Friends, and the traditional havaneres with Port-Bo on Sunday at 7 PM.
Matadepera offers around fifty activities, starting Thursday with the Corre-Tapes at Plaça Sant Jordi. The main concerts include Els Trinxats Rural Punk, Caipirinhas Rumberus, Mariners de Riera, Arjau, the Youth Festival with DJs, Amapop, La Llobregat, and Melt.
In Sant Llorenç Savall, the cover band Sicuta Versions will perform on Thursday at Plaça Major. On Saturday, Los 80 Principales will give a concert at Plaça de la Vila, followed by La Follia at the Casa de Cultura. The Orquestra La Montecarlo and Miops will also perform on Saturday night.
Interestingly, bands like Doctor Prats, Va Parir Tour, and Hotel Cochambre will perform both this weekend in Ripollet and Palau, and next week in Sabadell. Doctor Prats also has concerts in Viladrau and Sant Celoni.
