The session, aimed at companies, entrepreneurs, and self-employed individuals, aims to provide a technical and practical foundation for understanding the carbon footprint as a tool for managing greenhouse gas emissions.
Participants will learn to identify key methodological concepts, necessary internal data, and relevant emission sources. Guidance will also be provided on prioritizing actions and potential reduction measures, as well as the importance of communicating results to clients, in public procurement, and for business positioning.
The content covers the definition of corporate carbon footprint, the distinction between scopes (1, 2, and 3), calculation methodologies such as the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064-1, and the required internal data sources (energy consumption, mobility, waste, purchases, etc.).
The training will include a practical component with an activity to identify each company's starting point, assessing emission sources, data availability, and challenges in collecting reliable information.
The session will take place online from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Prior registration is required, and the training is free, valued at €420.91, thanks to a 100% subsidy.
The organizer, Rubí Empresa, states that photographs and audiovisual recordings may be taken during the session, and registration implies consent for their publication.
