The Generalitat Firefighters intervened this morning in an incident involving an external gas leak located in an industrial estate in Barberà del Vallès. The events took place on Ronda de Santa Maria, in front of a warehouse belonging to the company Windisch, at 12:14 PM.
Two teams of personnel were quickly dispatched to the area to manage the situation. According to sources from the rescue corps, the necessary tasks were carried out to seal and stop the external gas leak.
As a safety measure, several industrial warehouses near the incident site were evacuated by emergency services. The issue was resolved by 12:55 PM, and the teams proceeded to inspect the gas pipeline structure.
According to the same sources, the company responsible for the gas network has taken charge of the situation once the incident was resolved.
