The second day of the Festes de la Salut in Sabadell saw a large turnout on Sunday, with numerous families enjoying popular culture proposals and the children's festival.

After a first day marked by rain that forced the suspension of several activities, the center of Sabadell transformed into a meeting point for the celebration. The highlight of the day was the vigil procession, which took place around seven in the evening, with the handing over of the banner to the Estrella Daurada choir.
The program offered a wide variety of options for all audiences. The day began with early morning calls through the streets of the Centre and choir concerts. Around eleven in the morning, children's workshops were organized at the Racó del Campanar and a historical itinerary led by the Museum of History of Sabadell. At noon, attendees could enjoy a vermouth and a popular lunch.
The Salut celebrations were complemented by the eleventh edition of the storytelling festival Vet Aquí Sabadell!. This children's event gathered hundreds of families in Doctor Robert Square with activities such as manual games, reading areas, and storytelling sessions. A few meters away, the craft and gastronomy fair on the Rambla also attracted the attention of passersby.
The afternoon intensified the pace with the sardana dance group competition in Sant Roc Square and the festive procession, which began its route from the promenade of Major Square. The Estrella Daurada choir was in charge of carrying the banner, a fact they described as a source of pride for the entity and for the city. This procession was special due to the re-premiere of the Granotes del Ripoll and the incorporation of the Bou.

"It is a source of pride for us, we carry the name of the choir and of Sabadell throughout Catalonia."

The city of Sabadell is now preparing for a different Aplec de la Salut, as it will not be held in its usual setting, the sanctuary. On Monday, the bulk of the activities will be concentrated in the historic center, including the traditional Aplec mass, for which the image of the virgin has been moved to the church of Sant Fèlix. In parallel, the Inspira Arrels entity organizes the Fontada de la Salut at the Can Rull fountain, with various cultural and historical initiatives.
