Sentmenat Fire: Blaze Remains Active with Perimeter Uncontained

Firefighters are working with 55 crews to control the forest fire in Vallès Occidental, while other blazes in Tarragona and Segarra are now under control.

The forest fire in Sentmenat, located in the Vallès Occidental region, continues to be active after firefighters worked through the night without managing to fully contain its perimeter.

The emergency services have deployed 55 crews to the area to combat the flames. Protecció Civil lifted the confinement order for five of the seven affected urbanizations on Tuesday evening, but restrictions remain in place for El Farell and Sant Sebastià de Montmajor.
Meanwhile, two other fires have been brought under control: one in Savallà del Comtat, in the Conca de Barberà region, where two crews remain, and another in Selvanera (Torrefeta i Florejacs), in Segarra, with four crews.
Regarding the fire in La Bisbal d'Empordà, in the Baix Empordà region, which was controlled on Tuesday, the fire department continues to operate with 10 crews in the area.
