Today, September 2nd, registration opens for municipal sports activities for people over 60 in Sant Quirze del Vallès, with the course starting on October 1st.

Interested individuals can submit their application until September 17th. Registrations can be made online or in person at the citizen service offices, by requesting an appointment.
The municipal sports program for the 2026-2027 academic year offers activities for maintenance, quality of life improvement, and water aerobics at the Sala Muriel Casals, Torre Julià, Complex Esportiu, and the Piscina Coberta.
As a new feature, the Aiguagim C group is incorporated, specifically aimed at individuals with fibromyalgia, back problems, or reduced mobility, which will require a medical report or referral from the sports prescription service.
Each participant can initially choose a two-hour weekly activity group. Subsequently, if places are available, a second activity can be requested. Submitting an application does not guarantee a place; priority will be given to residents registered in Sant Quirze del Vallès or the Les Fonts neighborhood.
Applications submitted after the deadline will be placed on a waiting list. Activities will begin on October 1st, 2026, and conclude on June 30th, 2027, with holidays determined by the local calendar.
For individuals over 15 years old, renewals are open until September 10th, and new registrations from September 14th to 25th, at the reception of the Complex Esportiu Municipal de Can Casablanques.
