Shooting in Sabadell's Can Puiggener neighborhood under investigation

The Mossos d'Esquadra have launched an investigation following a firearms incident that left one person injured.

The Mossos d'Esquadra have opened an investigation following a shooting that took place last night in the Can Puiggener neighborhood of Sabadell, in Vallès Occidental, which left at least one person injured.

The incident occurred on Joan Balart street, as confirmed by police sources to the ACN. Officers received the alert shortly after nine in the evening, at which point several Mossos's public security patrols, along with local police and the Emergency Medical System (SEM), were dispatched to the scene.
As a result of the shooting, at least one person was injured. Emergency services transferred the injured person to the city's Hospital Parc Taulí.
The Mossos d'Esquadra's Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) has taken charge of the investigation to clarify the exact circumstances of the shooting and identify the perpetrators, who according to initial reports fled the scene.
