The Generalitat Firefighters had to intervene in Terrassa during the night of the Sant Joan festivities to attend to several fire alerts in homes and vegetation areas.

The most significant intervention took place at dawn, around 5:00 AM, at a home on Doctor Salvà Street. A fire affected the garage of a single-family house, forcing crews to use an aerial ladder to rescue a person trapped on the balcony.
Five Firefighter units and three SEM ambulances were deployed to the scene. Although the rescued person was treated by medical services, no hospital transfer was required. The flames were extinguished shortly after 6:00 AM, having affected the ground floor and the garage of the property.
Earlier, around 2:00 AM, emergency teams had already acted on the Rellinars road, near the Masia Ègara. In this case, the fire affected some brushwood located near a construction site. Two units were able to control and extinguish the flames quickly.
