With the arrival of the first temperature rises in Terrassa, residents are anticipating the bathing season. However, the municipal pools are still in the preparation process. Municipal workers are working intensively, including weekends like the past Saturday, May 23rd, to ensure everything is ready for the official opening.
At the Vallparadís pool, maintenance teams are carrying out an exhaustive cleaning of the basin and inspecting the ceramic tiles for potential leaks. This same assessment is being conducted at the city's other facilities: Les Arenes, La Maurina, and Sant Llorenç, including changing rooms and adjacent services.
The official bathing season will commence on Saturday, June 20th, and will extend until August 30th. Following measures implemented since the pandemic, two daily access sessions will be established (from 10:30 AM to 2:10 PM and from 3:30 PM to 7:10 PM) to manage capacity and allow for cleaning and disinfection at midday.
This year, season passes and additional discounts will not be offered, as the ticket price already includes the relevant reduction. Furthermore, on weekdays, a portion of the spots will be reserved for summer camps and sports campuses.
The tariffs approved by the Municipal Plenary are as follows: €2.50 for children aged 7 to 13 (morning or afternoon), €3.00 for general admission (morning or afternoon), €2.00 for schools and camps, €25 for a 10-use card, and €2.50 for individuals aged 65 and over, retirees, or people with a disability of 33% or more. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office or in advance online three days prior.
