The Sabadell International Music Festival concluded with a concert by the band Men in Swing, which paid tribute to Frank Sinatra before an engaged audience.

The final concert of the festival, organized by Joventuts Musicals, filled the hall with the music of the band Men in Swing. The group, formed in Vic over ten years ago, offered a journey through the musical life of Frank Sinatra.
The heat accompanied the days of the twenty-sixth Sabadell International Music Festival. At this last concert, the president of Joventuts Musicals, Joana Soler, thanked the audience for their presence and recalled the seventy years of the organization's existence, one of the oldest in Spain. A cava toast was announced, and attendees were encouraged to enjoy the upcoming chamber music season starting in October.
The concert began with the song "The Way You Look Tonight", performed by the voice of Marc Riera. The spirit of Frank Sinatra came alive through the arrangements by Alejandro Di Constanzo (piano), Joan Molina (drums), Gerard Cuní (double bass), Martí Mitjavila (clarinet), Guillem Vernis (saxophone), Jaume Grau (trumpet), and Gil Casals (trombone). The band managed to sound like a big band.
Marc Riera led the concert, blending Sinatra's magic without imitation. Songs like "All of Me", where Martí Mitjavila's clarinet stood out, jazz standards such as "I’ve Got You Under My Skin", "Cheek to Cheek", and "When You’re Smiling" were performed.
Riera highlighted Sinatra's lesser-known legacy, presenting tracks like "Say it" (1940) and "One for My Baby". Riera's voice and Di Constanzo's piano shone in the latter. "Woodchopper’s Ball", originally by Woody Herman, was also performed.
The repertoire included pieces by George Gershwin such as "They Can’t Take That Away from Me" and the legendary "I Got You Under My Skin".
The concert concluded with "Come Fly With Me" and the song "New York, New York", arranged by Martí Mitjavila. Marc Riera thanked Joana Soler for promoting jazz and criticized the difficulty of programming this musical genre in the country, despite the announcement of a new jazz series in Sabadell.
To mark the seventy years of Joventuts Musicals de Sabadell, the musicians performed "When the Saints Go Marching In" with the audience. The evening continued with cava, pastries, and congratulations.
