Minyons de Terrassa reached new 'casteller' milestones during their Heritage Day, held Saturday at Plaça del Rector Homs, in front of the Romanesque structures of La Seu d'Ègara.

The event began with a nine-step walking pillar of four, which traveled from Plaça de la Creu Gran to Plaça de la Seu, crossing the Pont de Sant Pere. Following this, the 'colla' executed the 5 of 8 with proficiency.
The highlight was the successful loading and unloading of the season's first 3 of 9 with 'folre', a 'castell' that the 'colla' had intensely prepared for in the preceding weeks. A 2 of 8 with 'folre' was also constructed.
To conclude the 'diada', Minyons unloaded the year's first pillar of 6 and performed a simultaneous act of ten pillars of 4. Colla Joves Xiquets de Valls and Castellers de Sant Cugat were the invited 'colles'.
The 'colla' from Terrassa's next performance is scheduled for Sunday, June 7th, for the Corpus 'diada', in Cornellà de Llobregat.
