The city of Terrassa is preparing for its Festa Major, scheduled from July 3rd to 8th. In anticipation of the festivities, mobility restrictions will be implemented starting Monday, June 29th, at 11:30 PM. These measures will affect several streets, public transport, and private vehicle circulation until July 8th.
Key road closures will be in effect. Rambla d’Ègara will be closed in both directions from 11:30 PM on June 29th until 5:00 AM on July 7th. Arquimedes street will be closed due to works between Plaça del Progrés and Doctor Ullés street. Additionally, the intersection of Josep Tarradellas and l’Abat Marcet avenues, along with ronda de Ponent, will be closed on July 8th from 10:00 PM to 11:59 PM for the fireworks display. The City Council advises avoiding the area during this time.
Regarding public transport, from June 30th to July 6th, urban buses will reroute via Galileu street, carretera de Martorell, Àngel Sallent avenue, and passeig del Vint-i-dos de juliol, with adjusted stops along these routes.
On July 8th, from 10:00 PM, for the fireworks, lines L4, L5, L8, and L9 will operate via carretera de Rellinars and passeig del Vint-i-dos de juliol, cancelling stops at Eugeni d’Ors, Plaça de Lluís Companys, and Emperadriu Eugènia. Lines L2, L3, L4, L5, and L8 will offer extended service until 3:00 AM on peak nights, with the Night Bus operating on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Following the fireworks and 'rom cremat' on July 9th, a special late-night service will be available for lines L2, L3, L4, L5, L8, and L9, departing from Plaça de Lluís Companys.
Taxi services will also see adjustments. The taxi stand on Rambla d’Ègara will move to Columel·la street from June 29th to July 6th. Service L18 Flex and the stand at Ricard Camí will also be modified.
City parking facilities will have entry and exit restrictions during Festa Major events affecting access routes. The FàcilPk parking lot on Sant Leopold street will offer special rates during the festival weekend.
