The 'Carnet Estiu Adolescent' in Terrassa will offer a wide program of free leisure activities throughout July, aimed at young people born between 2009 and 2013.

The initiative, driven by the Terrassa City Council with support from the Diputació de Barcelona, aims to boost leisure activities for teenagers with attractive, free-access proposals. Cardholders can participate in workshops, excursions, and other free activities across various city locations.
According to sources from the Youth Service, the goal is to provide educational, healthy, and participatory alternatives for young people to enjoy the summer, discover new interests, and share experiences with other young people in the city. Deputy Mayor Noel Duque emphasized the aim to give teenagers prominence, fostering their participation and sense of belonging to Terrassa.
Carnet applications will be processed from June 29 to July 3 at La Baumann (Avinguda de Jacquard, 1). Opening hours are Monday to Wednesday from 9 AM to 2 PM and 4 PM to 7 PM, and Thursday and Friday from 9 AM to 2 PM. On June 30, coinciding with the Terrassa Fest, the card can also be obtained. Minors under 14 will need to be accompanied by a legal guardian. The first thousand carnets will include three free tickets: one for Cinema Catalunya, one for the municipal swimming pools, and one to choose from two local leisure options.
The program, mostly taking place in July, includes sports (calisthenics, dance, volleyball), cultural, creative, and participatory activities. Some activities will require prior registration due to limited spots. On July 10 and 24, there will be meeting spaces to propose ideas for improving Terrassa. The July 10 session will feature a non-alcoholic cocktail workshop, and the 14th a foam party. An escape room and art and graffiti activities will also be offered. The month will conclude with a grand closing party featuring music and a live concert.
