A player from Club Natació Sabadell, trained from a very young age at the club, has recently debuted with the Spanish water polo national team, standing out for his defensive role and constant progression.

The young defender, who has spent his entire sports career at CN Sabadell, has shown great dedication and a playing style that benefits his teammates. He started playing water polo at the age of seven, despite his initial reluctance to not touch the bottom of the pool.
Despite not considering swimming his strong suit, the player began to stand out in lower categories and made his debut with the senior team at fifteen. His specialization in defense, a less visible but crucial position, has been key to his rapid progression.

"I've always liked defending, even as a child. There aren't many specific defensive players, and that has also helped me move up faster. In the end, you find joy in making blocks or pushing the center forward."

After six seasons with the first team, his performance has been increasing, consolidating him as an indispensable piece in the defensive scheme of CN Sabadell. His involvement with the club is total, considering it his sporting home.
Recently, his good performance has opened the doors to the Spanish national team, with which he debuted in Division I of the World Cup. The national team achieved first place and qualification for the final phase, in an experience that the player has described as "incredible".
Currently, the player and his teammates from CN Sabadell are preparing to face the play-off for the league title of the men's Water Polo Honor Division. The first semifinal match will be against CN Barcelona, on Saturday at 12:45 h at Can Llong.

"They always make things very difficult for us, but we arrive at a good moment and motivation is maximum. We are very hungry and I am convinced that we will go all out against any opponent that comes our way."
