“"We want our associative and neighborhood fabric to have the necessary tools to act quickly and effectively against any aggression. With this training and personalized support, we help entities create completely safe leisure spaces, free from sexism and LGTBI-phobia, where everyone can have fun in equality and freedom."

The Department of Feminism and Equality of the Montcada i Reixac City Council has launched a training program for neighborhood entities and associations to equip them with tools and support for addressing sexist and LGTBIfobic violence in leisure spaces.
The initiative aims to facilitate the creation of specific action protocols or circuits by the entities. The training will combine theoretical content with participatory methodologies and will be developed in two phases. The first, group-based, will consist of four sessions on October 27th, November 3rd, 11th, and 19th, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, at the Casa de la Vila.
Interested entities can register by sending an email to igualtat@montcada.org until October 21st. The second phase will involve individualized support to help each group develop an action circuit tailored to their needs, with sessions to be scheduled between January and March 2027.
This training is part of the Department of Feminism and Equality's efforts to strengthen the prevention and action tools for the municipality's entities against sexist and LGTBIfobic violence.
