More than forty entrepreneurs from Ripollet participated this morning in the 5th Business Breakfast, organized by the City Council, focusing on long-standing local companies.

The event, held at the facilities of IMA Ingeniería Magnética Aplicada, featured a talk on business longevity and a panel discussion with historic local companies. The aim is to foster networking and experience exchange among the local business community.
Mercedes Martínez from IMA welcomed attendees, followed by Alfons López, president of the Ripollet Business Association, who highlighted the importance of business associations. Subsequently, Carlos Martínez, CEO of Ciane Consulting and a professor at the UAB, delivered the keynote 'Companies That Endure: Learning from the Past to Prepare for the Future,' reflecting on the factors enabling business survival and evolution over time.
The panel discussion '40 Years Later: The Decisions That Brought Us Here' featured representatives from Aluminios Marton SL, Gamarti SL, and Girbau Martí Matadero de Aves SA. Moderated by Gerard Font Romera, they shared their experiences in managing crises, organizational changes, and future challenges.
Mayor Luis Tirado thanked participants, stating that 'enduring means not standing still,' and praised the networking opportunity to better understand local businesses. The event, subsidized by the Servei Públic d’Ocupació de Catalunya, concluded with a networking breakfast.
