L'Economat del Barri, a social and solidarity economy project born in Ripollet, is opening new premises at carretera de Barcelona, 43. The new, larger space will allow it to continue promoting clothing reuse and the circular economy.

The project, driven within the framework of the urban communality Populus Labora of Ripollet, has moved its activities to the new location after operating at the Celler Cooperatiu de Ripollet. This change will enable the continuation of promoting clothing reuse, the circular economy, and responsible consumption.
To mark the move, L'Economat has organized two open house days on November 2nd, from 9:30 AM to 1 PM, and November 3rd, from 10:30 AM to 1 PM, for residents to visit the new facilities.
During these days, new members will receive 30 welcome points. The organization invites visitors to bring a bag and ten pieces of clothing.
The project coordinator, Laura Marín Morote, highlighted that the change of premises will allow L'Economat to continue its development and reach more residents of Ripollet and Cerdanyola.
