The Coral Antics Escolans de Montserrat will begin its 2026 schedule with a concert at the Sant Pere Church in Rubí next Friday, January 16, presenting the work Et lux perpetua.

The concert, titled Et lux perpetua, is a musical proposal that offers a review of 200 years of sacred music history. The performance will be held at 8 PM (20h) in the emblematic Sant Pere temple.
This is not the first time the ensemble has performed in the Vallès city. Two years ago, the Coral already participated in the celebration acts of its 75th anniversary, invited by the Obrador Coral de Rubí.
The relationship between the Coral and Rubí is close, especially through its director, Jordi Boltes. Boltes served as director of the Antics Escolans de Montserrat from 1996 to 2009, and in fact, he directed the ensemble's first concert in Rubí back in 2006.
Throughout its 77 years of existence, the Coral has built a notable trajectory, performing in various locations across Catalonia and also outside Spain. They have collaborated with the Escolania de Montserrat and participated in the acts of the Millenary celebration.
