This initiative, organized by Rubí Comerç and the Colla Gegantera de Ca n’Oriol, aims to open the traditional route of the Tió Gegant (Giant Tió) to the city's popular culture and establish itself as a proposal open to other local entities.
The event will feature the participation of Les Anades d’Olla and the giants groups from Pinar, AFA Ca n’Alzamora, and Escola 25 de Setembre, offering a final day of fun for the little ones before the holidays.
The festive day will begin at 10 am in Plaça Pearson, where the participating giants will be exhibited. The wait will culminate with the arrival of the Tió Gegant, the central element of the celebration.
At 11 am, the parade will start through the pedestrian island. During the route, children can participate in the Tió tradition, give peanuts to the elephant Bòjum, enjoy the giants' dances at various points, and receive sweets. The celebration will conclude back at Plaça Pearson around 1 pm.
