For one week, various locations in Rubí will host the mobile information point to raise citizen awareness about the importance of waste prevention and selective collection. The aim is to educate on small daily habits that contribute to environmental improvement and facilitate household waste management.
The campaign also includes the distribution of specific containers (clakis) for used cooking oil collection. This initiative coincides with the distribution of clakis in the city's educational centers, with an estimated 600 families to be incorporated into the Rubiclak used oil collection project.
The information point will provide practical data and answer questions about correct waste separation, with a focus on organic matter and used cooking oil. It aims to highlight how simple actions, such as preventing oil from going down the drain or using designated collection points, help conserve resources and reduce environmental impact.
The 'Small gestures, big changes' point will be set up in five neighborhoods of Rubí to maximize citizen access to information and available resources. The planned schedules and locations are: October 8th (4:30 PM - 7:30 PM) in front of the Antiga Estació; October 9th (9:30 AM - 1:30 PM) at Plaça del Mercat Municipal; October 13th (4:30 PM - 7:30 PM) on Avinguda de Castellbisbal, in front of the Can Fatjó Civic Center; October 14th (4:30 PM - 7:30 PM) on Avinguda de Prat de la Riba, in front of the CAP Mútua; and October 15th (9:30 AM - 1:30 PM) at Plaça d’Aragó, in the Ca n’Oriol neighborhood.
