Godoy arrives in Sabadell from Estrela da Amadora, where he had limited playing time. The forward highlighted the good rapport he felt from the start with Lucas Viale and the Arlequinado coach when deciding to join the offensive line.
The player admitted that his main goal is to get minutes and find happiness on the pitch: “What I am looking for is minutes and to be happy.” Although he arrived at the end of December, he missed the match against Hércules, but his impact in the Copa debut was crucial in securing the victory.
Regarding his position, he explained that while he is comfortable as a lone striker, he prefers playing up front with another teammate, although he stressed his ability to adapt to different playing systems.
