The Commercial Court number 2 of Barcelona has decreed the creditors' meeting for the company Idif, based in Sabadell, due to non-payments and an accumulated debt exceeding 2 million euros.

The financial collapse of Idif, founded in 2009, is complete, as the company's balance sheet shows no remaining assets. This situation follows a string of non-payments and lawsuits filed by its twenty workers in the labor jurisdiction to claim their rights. Furthermore, the Social Security and various local administrations had initiated a dozen executions against the company for overdrafts.
The headquarters of Idif is located on Milà i Fontanals street in Sabadell. Since its incorporation, the company's main activity has been the design of machinery and metallic structures, as well as the maintenance of railway and aeronautical material, offering customized engineering services. The founder, sole administrator, and owner of the business is Jordi Salas Sénder.

The company's debts exceed two million euros, leaving the business without any active mass to meet payments.

The case of Idif adds to other corporate failures currently being processed by the commercial courts of Catalonia. Recent filings include Adara Clinics 2020 (healthcare activities in Barcelona), Aurea Pay & Pass Solutions (payment technology platform), Auto Selection Ocasión (car dealership in Palafrugell), Feeling Woman (consultancy in Barcelona), and Reino de Juguetes World (Maldà galleries in Barcelona), which reports a debt of 1.3 million.
