This figure represents two-thirds of the €300,000 economic goal that the organization set as its own contribution to finalize the purchase operation. The collective campaign remains open until January 31, 2026.
The initiative stems from the need to protect the community and cultural space in the center of Sant Cugat against the potential sale of the premises and the increasing real estate pressure in the area.
To secure funding, Cal Temerari offers participatory titles, which are solidarity loans of €1,000 repayable over five years, with interest rates up to 2% to encourage citizen participation.
The managing assembly is confident in reaching and even exceeding the goal, as higher participation would allow for essential improvements to the space, such as increasing accessibility and creating new rooms for activities. The purchase is considered a key step to "shield" the project.
