The ComunART project, promoted by the Municipal School of Arts (EMA) in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, begins the 2026-2027 academic year with the aim of continuing to bring the arts closer to the children and young people of the municipality. The initiative offers laboratory, music, dance, and theater experiences within school hours.
This academic year, ComunART will involve all nursery schools, primary schools, and secondary schools in the municipality, including private-subsidized schools. Approximately 400 students will participate in the regular projects, while another 180 children will take part in the Cantata, totaling over 570 schoolchildren who will share artistic experiences.
Among this year's proposals are Corda’t (string instruments), Venta’t i Percuta’p (wind and percussion instruments), Teatrots (theater), Dansa’t (creative dance), and Banda (for second-year secondary students). The program also includes theater activities for the welcome classroom, an artistic experimentation laboratory for I2 children, and a Cantata for fourth-grade primary students.
Since its inception in 2013 with the Corda’t project, ComunART has expanded its presence in educational centers. Its main objectives are to guarantee equal opportunities in access to artistic practice, develop creativity and expression, foster collaborative work, and connect schools, families, and the community through the arts.
The activities are taught by EMA faculty during school hours, allowing students to discover different artistic disciplines without leaving their usual school environment. Furthermore, students interested in continuing their artistic education can enroll at the EMA, which offers public price reductions of 40% and 75%, depending on the situation, to facilitate access to this training.
